Dr. Sharon Lamson

O.D., (Hon.) B.Sc.

Dr. Sharon Lamson was first introduced to Optometry through a co-op program in highschool where she worked at the Pickering Optometric Clinic as a technician. Afterwards, she attended Queen’s University in Kingston and completed an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. She eventually moved to the United Kingdom where she went to Aston University in Birmingham for her Optometry degree. Upon graduation, she moved to Blackpool to do her Pre-registration year at G R Hardwick Optometrist, and after becoming fully certified with the College of Optometrist and a member (MCOptom), she continued working at the practice for another 5 years. During her time there, she did a higher qualification course through Ulster University and obtained a Professional Certificate in Medical Retina.

Dr. Lamson came back to Canada for one summer term to do the International Optometric Bridging Program (IOBP 1) at the University of Waterloo. She did her externship with Dr. Bruno. After passing the board exams in Canada, Dr. Bruno offered her a position, where she worked for a few years. Dr. Lamson has now joined Eye See Optometry, alongside Dr. Michael Bryant, since Dr. Bruno has merged his practice and retired.
